Data Deletion Instructions

Sydly puts your privacy first. We do not store your data on any remote servers. All your personal data is saved locally on your device. Because of this, you have complete and instant control over deleting your data.

How to Delete Your Data

In-App Deletion

Remove specific entries directly within the Sydly app.

  • Open the Sydly app.
  • Go to the "More" tab or "Recent Trips".
  • Tap the trash can icon next to any saved location or trip to delete it instantly.

Full App Reset (Clear Data)

Instantly wipe all data associated with Sydly via Android Settings.

  • Open your phone's Settings app.
  • Go to Apps > Sydly.
  • Tap Storage.
  • Tap Clear Data.

What Data is Deleted?

Following either of the steps above will permanently delete the following information stored on your device:

Precise Location History (Recent Trips) Personal Addresses (Home/Work) Favorite Transport Stops

Data Retention Policy

Instant & Permanent: Because Sydly does not transmit or store your personal data on any cloud database or server, there is no "retention period." Once you delete the data from the app or clear the app's storage via your phone's settings, your data is instantly and permanently destroyed. It cannot be recovered by us or anyone else.
